The Bangalore Palace is the palace I have seen fully with furniture. I personally walk a lot to reach this palace, because most of the Bangalore residence doesn’t know about the exact place of this palace.

The Bangalore Palace is near to the Bangalore City; this is where a bit distance from the City Market and Majestic Bus stand.

After I went to Tipu sultan Palace; I try to visit to Bangalore Palace, but most of the residence there knew only Tipu sultan palace, but finally I approach a person who is from Bangalore city, who knew about the Bangalore Palace.

From the Market Bus stand,

From the Market Bus stand, I took the Bus No 150 and reaches to the Sivaji Nagar Bus stand; from there I took another bus of Bus No 287 and get down Vasanth Nagar. From the Vasanth Nagar the Bangalore Palace is a walking distance.

From the Majestic Railway station,

There is some rain service from Majestic to Bangalore City, from the Bangalore City it’s a walking distance.

About the Bangalore Palace

The History of Bangalore Palace is grate to know before going to Bangalore Palace.

The palace was start construction in 1862 and completed in 1944. In 1884 it’s brought by the Maharaja of Mysore, Chamaraja Wodeyar at a cost of Rs.40, 000 and later renovated it. Now is owned by Mysore Royal Family, SriKanta Datta Narsimharaja Wadiyar.

About Palace and Integer,

The Bangalore Palace is looks similar to Replica of the Windsor Castle in England. The Bangalore Palace was built in Tudor style architecture.

In the palace itself there are 35 rooms, most of them being Bedrooms. The First floor of the palace containing an elaborate hall called as the Durbar Hall. This is the hall used by King to address the assembly.  In the entrance there is a massive elephant head mounted in it.

The palace itself has so many boutiques painting and the statues. Which are belonging to the 19th century, which are invaluable.

About the entrance fee

The Palace is open to Public who can visit after paying a fee of Rs.175 for locals and Rs.375 for foreign nationals.

To using camera need to pay further Rs.500 for it. And they used to give a walkman which will explain about the palace and the history of the palace. The walkman is free of charge for locals and foreign nationals, who brought tickets.

My personal experience

As I like to the palaces, I love to see a wonderful palace in the cost of Rs.175 per person. But it’s expensive for the locals to pay and see the palace at this cost.

But it added value may trips to know about Bangalore Palace and their history.

When left from the palace I thought no Kings in the world is a richest man, who work hard and earn hard, is the richest man in the world.

Even they have a palace or the income and reputations; they may be still in “0” in their personal life.
