The SLII organized a Weekend Diploma programme of Diploma in Insurance Practice. The Diploma programme will accelerate you as a insurance professional.

The Diploma will consist of following subject

Core module

  1. Insurance Law
  2. Insurance Business Finance
  3. Underwriting Practice
  4. Personal Insurances
  5. Insurance Regularatory Practice in Srilanka

Optional Module [one subject]

  1. Life Assurance
  2. Advance Clams [Non Life]

Commencement on 7th January 2012 [Saturday]

Course Fee:  Rs. 32,575.00

The candidate who is successful complete programme will permit for Dip. SLII as designations.

Process to obtain Dip SLII

Complete the 6 Subjects

A thesis of not less the 2500 words to be written on a subject chosen by candidate ands related to insurance under the guidance of a mentor recommended by the SLII

Post CIP/DIP qualifying experience of 1 year with the maintenance of a training log.

      In srilanka there is limited courses in Insurance Field, recently only SLII starts it’s Diploma Programmes, while NIBM having a Higher National Diploma in Insurance, it may help you to learn lot about Insurance.
