India Airline Industry is looking forward a foreign investment into the India’s Domestic Airlines. The foreign investors may able to invest up to 49% of the domestic airlines stakes. This will help the ailing airlines to provide vital cash injections for the financial crisis and operations.
Foreign airlines were banned from owning stakes in Indian carriers although non airline investors from abroad can hold as much as 49% of the stakes. The new approvals will help most of the cash strapped airlines to obtain more investments and continuing operations.
