The Turkish Airlines for the first time launched service to Colombo International Airport from Istanbul from last Friday. The airline would operate five flights per week to Male via Colombo.

This would operate every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, in the sector Istanbul/Male/ Colombo/Male/Istanbul.

This would be good scope for the Srilanka Tourism and development perspectives with Turkey and region.
