The News indicated that the 1,699 Chinese nationals are in Sri Lanka with encaging in to the 14 Projects being implemented under financial assistance of China.

The most of the Chinese nationals are engaging in activities at Colombo – Katunayake highway projects and Norochcholai coal power Projects; which is out of 42 Project financial assisted by Government of China
