It is not possible to enroll more than 177 students to the Law College as the facilities available are inadequate to accommodate more students, Justice Minister Rauff Hakeem told Parliament.

He said the cut-off mark had to be increased to 66 last year because of this situation.

He said this decision was made by the Law Education Council which is chaired by the Chief Justice Mohan Pieris and comprises two senior judges from the Supreme Courts.
