Hindi classes for adults and children in Colombo – By Indian Cultural Centre

New admissions to the Hindi classes conducted at the Indian Cultural Centre for the 2014/2015 session will begin from May 5, 2014.

A special course for children between the ages of seven and 15 will begin on 9th May 2014. All those attending the present courses should re-apply for the new course. Those who wish to learn the Hindi Language as a hobby and those who wish to attend morning classes can contact the Centre for special group classes.

Applications are available at the Indian Cultural Centre: 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 07 (9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) on all weekdays.

The course duration will be one year for each level. Students are taught Hindi for

  • Level 100 (beginners),
  • Level 200 (intermediate)
  • Level 300 (advance)

The course examinations will be conducted by the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra and certificates will be issued.

The classes will be conducted by Sri Lankan experts in Hindi and a specialist Hindi teacher from India.
