AirAsia India is Ready to Fly

AirAsia has found an Indian partner to open an AirAsia India operation in India for Domestic and International operations.

The AirAsia has teamed up with India’s Tata group and Hindustan Aviation to set up a new airline to be known as AirAsia India.

In the deal, the Indian parties will take 51 % equity stake while AirAsia will hold the remaining 49 %. Which is the equity it normally takes in its foreign joint ventures.  Of the 51%, Sources said Tata Group will have 30% stake and Hindustan Aviation 21% equity stake.

The three parties is said to have signed the partnership agreement this week and have submitted a proposal to the Indian government to seek a domestic air services licences also this week.

China Launches World Largest Bullet train services

China starts services on the world largest high speed rail route on 27th December 2012 from Beijing to Guangzhou of 2,298 Km.

At the initial travels the trains traveled at an average speed of 300 Km per Hour over the line includes 35 stops in major cities.

China established high speed rail networks in 2007 and complete its world largest railway track of 8,358Km in 2010 and it could be expected to be almost double in 2020.

The New High Speed Train services are launched before China’s Lunar New Year Holiday Period which falls in mid of February 2013. So this train service would be more utilized by hundreds of millions people in China.

The Srilanka’s first Satellite Supreme Sat I launched successfully today (November 27) at 15.43 Hours on board China’s Long March 3B/E Launch vehicle from the Xi-Chang launch Centre.

Srilanka become 45 Country to own Communication Satellite and becomes third in south Asian country to have launched a satellite after India and Pakistan.

The Satellite will be position above Srilanka in Geo Stationary orbit of 87.5 degree east nearly 36000 km from surface of the earth. The satellite would expect to use for commercial purposes and life time of 15 years.

The launched was initially expected on 22nd November 2012, but it was postpone due to technical and Weather conditions.

Russia bans YouTube my Mistake

Last Wednesday Russia made a statement of List of Bans website with Name of YouTube, where Russian officials says there was intention was to ban 22 Specific videos, rather than whole service; Notably video on “How to commit suicide”.

While the Communication Ministry spokesman says it was a “Technical Mistakes”, but there was favors and negative arguments are give on to ban YouTube and other listed sites.

Srilanka becomes 45th Country to own a Communication Satellite and becomes third South Asian Country to Launched Satellites after India and Pakistan. The Satellite Supreme SAT I would be a milestone for Srilankan Communication Technology and generate Foreign incomes with commercial operations.

The Satellite Supreme SAT I will be launched from Xichang Satellite launch centre in China today and will be positioned above Srilanka in the Geo-Stationary orbit at 87.5 degree east and will operational for commercial purposes.

The Board of Investment (BOI) enter an agreement in early this year into partnership with Supreme SAT (Pvt) Ltd to Launched its communication satellite for Srilanka. the Supreme SAT is an 27th Private company in the word to own satellite. The Satellite Supreme SAT will be established a satellite earth station at Pallekele in Kandy soon.

The Supreme SAT in negotiation between Maldives and Afghanistan to build satellite for them.

Air Asia in talks to buy Serbia’s National Airline JAT

The Malaysian low cost airline Air Asia is in talks with Serbian National Airline JAT, the Air Asia is looking forward to develop the Belgrade it as a regional hub for Flights from Europe and Far East via Kuala Lumpur.

The JAT is a Loss making airline which creates losses of USD 34 Million with the total Euro 300 Million, and JAT holding 14 Fleets of 10 Boeing 737-300 and 4 ATR 72-200 which are 20 years old now.

While these purchases will be helping Air Asia to improve their  Services in a wider range without any Flighting air traffic in Malaysian airports.

This option would cost effective for the Air Asia to improve the performance in the long run
