I used to read news paper over the Phone. Most of the Papers are available in EPaper Website. After I came home I search a lot about this Paper in website, but still I couldn’t be able to see the website of particular paper or an EPaper.
But I wish to take the paper from India and read because the information available is more enthusiastic to youth to be successes in their life.

In my recent trip to India, I had a chance to met a used book seller, it’s a lady who can speak English very well and knew about all the books what she had,
I just walk through the way I met the place where she had her in road side shop, she had almost best collection of books, as I see from there most of the books are personal developments and autobiographies and so many other business related book.
To test her I took a book and asked about the price, she read the title of the book and says me, this is about the personal development book, this Constance the following chapters or areas.
I really shock that how she telling everything without open a book, after sometimes she said me she read most of the books she sell, and she replied me she sell only the personal development books rather than school or management books.

She said that, this is her small contribution to the society to developed personality level. I seen her as a another Abdul Kalam,
India is a great country to learn about the business and the emergent strategies. In every street you can see small shops in doing business, the business can be any forms, but as a Management student I learned a lot of business ideas from them.
Most of the shops are season businesses. especially India is a hot country therefore most of the shops selling watermelon, Apple juice, orange juice and so on.
As per my Observation the small business man who sells the fruit juices will earn more than INR.2000 per day. As per my assume they sell about 100 juices at the Price of INR.20.00
If we do small calculations about his monthly income n expenses we feel that what we work for others is useless and emerged us to starts the small business.
Small calculation about their income and expenses of Small business
He or she may sell 100 juices at INR 20 the earning per day will be INR.2, 000
If we think they work for 20 days per month their income is INR.40, 000.
If we reduce half the money as their cost of sale balance INR.20, 000 will be in hand as profit.
For a small Indian family INR.20, 000 may be much enough to survive.
Its Depend on the Location.

That why Dr.Abdul Kalam says youths to Dream about the 2020 India. When all the youths are dreaming about the business, this will help India to Reach the Abdul Kalam’s dreams.
In Colombo Airport, I have seen a great business promotion by the SLT Broadband , specially SLT Broadband connection provide free Wi-Fi in the Airport and they place some PC’s with internet connections.

This is my personal experience with Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC
I brought Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC shares 08th February 2011 at the price of Rs.57.50 per share. After I purchased share price dropped heavily and reaches in Rs.49.50 in some days.
In today [28th April 2011] I see the prices are going up suddenly, and I suspect there should be any reason to prices to going up,
My reason was,
• May rights issue coming in,
• Dividend may announce soon
• May be acquire by big buyer,
• New expansion announcement may issue,
Even I thought these reasons I don’t like to keep these shares for long time, cause I had enough liquidity loss for these 3 months, so I plan to sell this today at a good price.
Therefore I asked my broker; is there any news they having about the Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC, but he says he don’t know anything but he also suspecting there will be an announcement today.
I asked to sell
I asked my share broker to sell all my Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC shares at the price of Rs.60 per shares. This will help me to go out of Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC without loss.
My ask price was meet the requirement in evening times and sold off, after a 20 to 30 minutes I got to know that Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC announced Sub Division, after I see the announcement, I feel sorry for Srilanka Stock Exchange, how the Information and the inside Dealings are going on,
“The Sub Division decision took yesterday by the Board of Directors and published the announcement today, while the day some investors got the information and push the market up and collect most of the shares”.
But whoever is playing inside dealing in the market will loosen their money in the market itself. This is not blame, but it’s happened.
Indian Form Filling business in Salaka (the Business in Unethical)
Recently I faced a new experience with Indian Visa proceeding in Srilanka, such as the Application forms should be filled in Online and takes those printouts and hand it over to Indian Visa proceeding center in Sri Lanka.
I couldn’t find the online facilities in near to the office, therefore I force to go Salaka and fill up the Applications form,
While I asked the front office staff in Salaka internet café, they inform me that’s we have to pay for Prints out only, not for Application filling Chagres. Therefore I feel it’s a good deal, which may not spend much in,
And they asked to take the Visa photos there itself, therefore I did,
So in the Salaka in spend overall,
Visa Application form Prints out 6 Pages Rs.20.00 each LKR 120.00
Visa photos in 15 Minutes LKR 550.00
Totally LKR 670.00
But after I went to India Visa proceeding center I got to know that only 2 pages are important in the printouts(6 Pages) which we taken in Salaka. But till today morning I felt that is ok, because the Salaka staffs may not know the process,
Today morning my dad says me that the Photos for Visa can be taken in Visa proceeding center for LKR.150 in 15 minutes.
That’s mean I have to spend only

Which Salaka is over charging from me almost Rs.480
I am also management student, I know how to do the business, but I feel unfair in paying Rs.480 per person (which is unethical business).
As per my observation there were 100 people may fill the forms for the day, its mean they earn Rs 48,000 per unethically.
Are you Mad??
2 days ago, when I travel to office in the morning I had a chance to meet a different personality, or the person who made me to think differently,
On that day, morning about 7.45 Am; I took the Bus route 155 my nearest Bus hold. As usual the 155 bus was fully crowed nearest to our bus hold. Cause of the crowed, I force to travel in footboard.
The before the next hold we met the junction which having a signal, normally the workers near to the places are get down from the signal and going for their works. As usual that day also some of the travellers are get down from the bus, when the bus stopped in signal.
I was in the Bus footboard; so I be careful in not to miss the bus. But the same times I gave space to the people who gets down, a man was trying to getting down when the signal was in the green and he ask me to give a space too,
I refuse to give space and suddenly asked “are u mad to asking me to give space when signal is on?” while I speak my friend, I used to say are u mad (Oya pisutha?). It does continue there as well, without my intention.
The answer he says is shocking to me, that he says “yes, I am, and all are “and look at me as an innocent. After sometime I feel sad for scolding an innocent, but I thought; what he told? and what did he mean? While I reach office, I couldn’t find the reason for that answer.
Still I can’t get the point what he is mean?
The answer can be critically analysis in the entire manner, because all of us having some kind of madness, but most of us think we are perfect, but we are mixed with madness, foolish, brilliants, sensitive and all other.
After that incident I try to avoid asking “Are you Mad?” Even from friends.

My Personable experience with singer Finance (Lanka) Ltd

While I am new to the market I just applied to Singer finance IPO with my side analysis and predictions. I request for 1000 shares, later the company allocated me for 500 shares according to their allotment scheme.
My expectations before singer finance come to market
I had a friend in office; who always talk about share market and the performance of the market. And he is the one motivator for me to enter Share Market as well.
While the time Colombo Stoke Exchange announced to the public it’s oversubscribed more than 120 times. According to the market trend I expect the singer finance can be double the price of its IPO price. And it can be a range between Rs. 30 to Rs. 35.
Even I expect the double I don’t having planned to sell those shares. And I like to look for a long term investment on it and enjoy the long term performance.
The first day of trading in CSE
17th January 2011, the singer finance listed in the main board of CSE. The first trading started with the price of Rs.35 per share. I didn’t have an idea to sell it even it prices reached 40’s.
But in 45 minutes time its reaching about 45 to 46 to be cleared, while I realized this may be good time to sell, so I called to my Investment advisor and told to sell singer finance shares at Rs.50 each.
In about 30 minutes the prices came down and the range was between Rs.41 to Rs.43. Therefore I call my investment advisor again and asked him to remove the sell order and said I like to keep it for long term.
After sometimes I refuse to see the market movement and see the price movement, but about 1.45pm I have a look on it. The market was about Rs.48 per share.
Then I again call to my investment advisor and told if you can sell the shares at the Price of Rs. 50.but I was not sure whether it will realized the day or after. But about 2.25 pm singer finance cleared the price of Rs.50.
My Profits
Compare to the Price I earn a capital gain of 2.33 times of my investment. This is an absolute investment opportunity for Srilankan and foreign investors.

As a non Indian I believe Dr.Abdul Kalam as my role model and I want to meet him once in my life. His Wings of Fire Change my life style and my focus in life very well…

Enthiran is a new Tamil film released on 1st of October 2010. But only today I had the opportunity to watch it.
Unfortunately I got to know a part of the story through my sister. I wondered about my self, because my sister didn’t say any good things about the Tamil cinema. She said it was an amazing film and I have to watch it too.
Because of that torture and my friends’ request I decided to watch it. me and two of my friends went to Cine city theatre for 6.30 Pm Show. We were there by 5.30 PM to take tickets. We expected there will be a huge crowd outside the Cinecity to get tickets, as the day fallen on a weekend and saturday. As we expected when the main gate was open, we were shocked for a moment. Earlier we thought by looking outside of the theatre there is not much crowd as we expected.
We got 5 seats front from the last row at the time of even at 5.45 Pm.
As to me the story was very interesting in the last part, where graphics were used in the fight scene. I felt happy for the new technologies they used in tamil film equal to english films. I loved the end part of graphics. It was awesome.
I felt bored at times, as I knew the story of that earlier, I know the next scenes of each scene. I am greatly satisfied with director Shankar’s talent.
If anybody ask me tell me endiran in one sentence, I would say “It is about how the world will be if there are robots, Pros and cons of having robots”
As per my perspective
Enthiran [robot] is a money making technique, at the same time it is a good pleasure time for entertainment seekers. But not for the value of money [ as there are no specific message given to general public, as Rajni Kanth do in his films ].
Hats off to the actors and the team who involved in the making of Enthiran.
Chess is played in squares board with 8 rows and 8 columns, making 64 squares. There is always two players: one black and one weight. It’s initiated by the Indian kings. Earlier called as “sathurangam”. Mostly this game is played by king and top level people in kingdom. The percent game is emerged in 15th century by Europe.
Each player holding 16 pieces such as,
One king,
One queen,
Two rooks,
Two knights,
Two bishops,
And eight pawns.
The ultimate objective of this game is checkmate the opposition’s king, when the king faces immediate attack its call Check on the next move they should remove or defend from the attack.
The board is always arranging as the image describe. Both queens start on squares of their own color and king start on the opposite color.
The Pawns
The pawn is the weakest piece in this games and each player gets eight pawns. A pawn can move only one square straight forward, but the first move it can move two square forward. Some times pawns unable to move if any other pawns blocked [its can be either friendly or enemy].
The pawns can move diagonally if square occupied by enemy’s pawns.
The knight
The night mostly calls as horse. Each player get 2 knights.
Its can move one square horizontally or vertically and then one square diagonally from its original position. And the knight can jump over another piece either friend or enemy.
The Bishop
The bishops are the 3rd powered pieces in the game.
Each player gets two bishops. The bishops can move as far as its diagonal line. But bishop can’t jump over anther piece. And especially each bishop spends his whole life in the same color as it belongs.
The Rook
The rook is a 2ed powered pieces in the game and it look like a tower. Each player will get 2 rooks.
Rooks also move like bishop but rooks move in a straight vertical or horizontal. As same as bishop it can’t jump over the pieces. And it should stop before friendly pieces or square of enemy’s captured.
The Queen
The queen is a strongest piece in the game. And each player gets one queen. The queen can move like bishop and rook combined [in horizontal or vertical or diagonal]. And queen also can’t jump over another piece.
The King
The king is most important piece in the game. And each player gets one king.
King doesn’t have power like Queen, Bishop or Rook. But king is determining the final result of game. King can move one square in any direction.
Check
If a player manages to threaten other players king will capture is call check. Its mean in next move enemy’s king will be capture. Once the check position is announce the enemy player should take immediate action to safe their king.
3 solutions are to do, if check announced.
1. Moving king to safe square,
2. Capturing the threating piece,
3. Getting friendly 3rd piece in to threating piece’s way.
Checkmate
If one player manages to check other’s king. And the enemy’s king can’t be moveable than its call checkmate [end of the game].
The primary objective the chess game is to checkmate. But capturing pieces is only for made easy to capture enemy’s king.
Stalemate
This position is where the player is not made check but the other player can’t move without exposing the king capture. So game comes to end as tie.
Basic Rules
Pawn Promotion
If the pawn ends up to enemy’s side, the pawn can promote as Knight, Bishop, Rook or Queen. In most of the time everyone promote as queen.
Castling
The castling is used to safe the king in beginning. Its follow some rules,
1. Square between king and rook is empty,
2. King or rook not move yet,
3. No enemy pieces threating to king.
Castle can carryout by moving king towards to the rook. Than rook also move other side of king by one square. This is a best defensive position to king.
En Passant
This is rule mostly not use. Because it’s applicable only if following situation arise only,
When other player moves to pawn 2 square forward [ 1st move], the passes over a square where the enemy pawn could cut if its move one square forward. Than that pawn can capture by moving pawn by diagonally.
Some player is not use this because its no sense behind it.

இங்கு இருந்து அங்கு போய் உழைப்பதை விட இங்கு இருந்து, இங்கு உழைப்பது மேல். நான் கண்ட பல மேதாவிகள் எனக்குக் கூறியது இங்கு இனப்பிரச்சனை, மொழிப்பிரச்சனை. ஆனால் அவர்கள் அங்கு சென்று அந்த நாட்டு மொழியைக் கற்பதை விட இங்கு இருந்து நம் சகோதர மொழியைக் கற்று சிறப்படைவதே மேல். இதை நான் இங்கு சொன்னால் எம்மவர்களுக்கு நான் விரோதி ஆகிறேன்
இது மட்டும் இல்லாமல் இங்கு இருந்த நோஞ்சான்கள் அங்கு சென்றதும் வீரன் ஆகும் கதைகள் ஏராளம். இந்த வீரன்கள் அங்குள்ள அப்பாவிகளுடன் சண்டை போட்டு மீண்டும் இங்கு வந்த கதைகளும் ஏராளம். இதை விட இங்கு இருந்து எமக்கு ஏற்ற தொழிலைச் செய்யலாம் எமது தாய் நாட்டில்.

This day started with hearing sad unusual news and actions. When I woke up, my father told me, as one of our relative died from throat cancer on the way to Colombo General Hospital, at Puttalm. The second bad news was, one of my friedn called and informed that one of my friend met an accident day before yesterday and got admitted to hospital, Unfortunately I heard this news also after two days on this day.
I got ready to work, though I woke up late, I rushed myself and got ready to go work. I left to the bus halt at about 7.30 am to go office.
When I reached the bus halt, the bus I should take was just passed in-front of me. I scolded my self and waited until the next bus come.
While I waited there, I saw a school boy was looking at both sides to cross the road. After saw this I looked at the right side from where bus come. I did not thought of helping the small boy to cross over the road.
At the same time a push-cart man passed by the place where I stood. Who collect used papers and used bottles to sell and he carry on with his life. When the push cart man gone near to the school boy he asked the small boy “Whether he wants to cross the road?”. As the small boy said “Yes” he stopped his pushcart and placed a stone on the wheeels of push cart(to make it not to move). He hold the school boy’s hand and took him to the other side of the road and he came back to this side, where his pushcart was there, and he was walking on his way.
When I saw that an uneducated push cart man helping the child to cross the road and me, a cost accountant did not think of helping the child. I was thinking to myself until I reach office, what is the difference between me and that man who helped the child.finally endup with the answer that he was a person with much more ‘humanity’ comparing to me and i felt ashamed of being like hat.
A ‘brand name’ is a unique sign which demonstrate the value of what it is. Most of us are aware that the brand names are commonly used for the products and services.
This is quite a new concept as I think.
Each and every person has some kind of personalities, which demonstrate their own branding to others.
Such as
1. Uniqueness
Each personality has some uniqueness. This uniqueness may be known by them or not, this uniqueness will be expressed in certain situation. The respected personality should identify what is his or her uniqueness and develop it.
Ex: – concentrations, confidence, positive mentality, etc…
2. Identity / Differentiations
The differentiation means everybody’s personality difer from each others. The differentiation get developed by comparing people and to compare the respected person to make his or her self better than others.
3. Charismatic
The personality should be a charismatic on their selves. The charismatic skills will show you as different personnel from others. This will make yourself attractive as others like to follow you as a leader [role model]. This is one of the best branding for your own. Which you can develop on your own.
4. Leadership
The leadership skills make difference between the personalities. The leaders always have some sort of specializations. This makes them to be unique and differ them from others. This makes them as a brand of their personalities.
Ex: – Che Guevera, Fidel Castro, Abdul Kalam and so on…
5. Interpersonal skills
The interpersonal skills also make the personalities to be differ from others. The personality behaviors demonstrate their brand on their selves. People who have a good leadership skills and good communication skills are good examples interpersonal skills. They are branding them by their interpersonal skills.
Ex:- communication skills, presentation skills, negotiations skill, etc…
6. Communication skills and Presentation skill
These are the skills which make the person to be different from others. In some cases this make the differentiation and make the brand better as well.
There are so many personalities who do their motivational speech by only depending on their presentation skills. This make them to be different from others.
7. Accuracy
The knowledge accuracy is also making a personality to become a branded. These make the person to well organize and to preplann. In the working places most of these skills help the staffs [who work in private companies] to be brand them selves. Specially knowing all related news and current updates make them as a brand knowledge personality.
Ex: – Updated information on hand, availability of data, etc…
8. Understandability
The understandability makes a person to be unique. The way they understand the matters quickly is a brand to the personality. Which can be a bright case in their life as well.
Ex: – understanding the situations, understand the mentality of others, grasp the points quickly and easily understand the complex data.
9. Adoptable and willingness to change
The person who like to adopt new changes and to update theirself make them branded. The willingness to change also considered as a branded. These people may be early adapters of the markets.
Ex: – adopt new technology, adopt and understand new concepts, willingness to change process to upgrade, etc…
10. Willingness to learn
This is the important skill to a person who wants to be branded. The branded person is willing to learn everything at any time. This makes them to be more branded. This is an important skill to be a branded person.
11. Creativity and Self thinking
The new creativity will make the personality to be branded his or her self. The person who willing to create a new innovation always have a good demand in the markets. The branded personality is depend on how they use their creativity and innovation skills.
In overall branding the personality depends on the person who tries their personality development. The branding can be a positive and negative as well. So the selection to be a branding in positive or negative will depend on how and what are the activities are carried out by the personalities.

ஏற்கும் இடர்களும்(risk) பெற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படும் பெறுபேறுகளும்(result) ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்று தொடர்புடையதே. இடர் உள்ளது என்பதற்காக இழக்கப்படும் ஒவ்வொரு வாய்ப்புக்களும் எமக்கு நாமே தோண்டப்படும் குழிகள். வெற்றிகள் தேவையாயின் இடர்களையும் குள்ள நரித்தனத்தையும் எதிர்கொள்ளவேண்டிய கடப்பாடு எமக்கு உள்ளது…
