Toyota Lanka announces the drawing competition 2019 for school children. This art drawing competition winner will travel to Japan with their parents.

The competitions drawings will accepted till 31st January 2019.

  • The drawings must be produced In A3 {297mm x 420mm) paper size.

  • The entries can be sent by post or handed over to any Toyota Lanka Branch or People’s Bank Branch before 31st of January 20i9

Europen Union Women Day Poster competitions – Submits before 30th April 2015

On the occasion of International Women’s Day (8 March) we invite amateur and professional artists to participate in a poster competition.

Submit your posters on one of following themes:

  1. Women in public life
  2. Women’s economic empowerment
  3. Stop gender based violence
  4. The role of women in reconciliation

This competition is open to artists between the two age groups: youth below 18 years and adults 19 years and above residing in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Laksala Design Competition 2014 – Applications calls Now

Design Competition

Laksala initiated the Design Competition 2014 to commemorate a bountiful Golden Jubilee in hopes of discovering the creative abilities of Laksala Registered Entrepreneurs by inviting them to participate in this memorable event.

 

There are two main stages in the competition

The first stage will be the paper based designs, where all design submissions in each respective category will be submitted as sketches. Designs that are chosen from stage one will then be manufactured and presented for stage two.

All entrepreneurs who wish to take part in the competition may select one or more categories mentioned below to submit one or more designs per category.

  1. Handloom Wear – (Sarees, Dresses & Skirts, Kaftans, Casual Ladies Tops, Mens Shirt, Mens Sarongs)
  2. Batik Wear – (Sarees, Dresses & Skirts, Kaftans, Shawls, Casual Ladies Tops, Mens Shirt, Mens Sarongs)
  3. Hand Painted Wear – (Sarees, Dresses & Skirts, Kaftans, Shawls, Casual Ladies Tops, Mens Shirt)
  4. Fashion Accessories – Leather (Ladies Handbags, Travel Goods)
  5. Fashion Accessories – Rush and Reed (Ladies Handbags, Utility Carry Baskets)
  6. Beach Wear – (Wrap Dresses and Skirts, Shorts, Hats, Swimwear)
  7. Casual Jewellery – Local Indigenous Material (Necklaces, Earrings, Bangles)
  8. Fine Jewellery – Gold using colored gemstones (Necklaces, Cuff links, Pendents, Bangles/Bracelets, Rings, Earrings and EarTussles)
  9. Fine Jewellery – Silver using colored gemstones- (Necklaces, Cuff links, Pendents, Bangles/Bracelets, Rings, Earrings and EarTussles)
