16^th November 2011, the Lankem Development PLC that the Board of Directors resolves changes the name of Lankem Development PLC to Consolidated Tea Plantations PLC.

The Rename is due because of the current company’s primary business activities is in construction and Engineering  sectors and the commencement of the New Business Venture mainly as an Investment Holding Company making advised investment interlaid  in the leisure industry, the plantation sector and hydro power projects.

The New Articles of association will be issue shortly and extraordinary general meeting for purposes of obtaining shareholder sanction to give effort to the foregoing has been converted for 5^th January 2012 at 9.30 am at the Grand Oriental Hotel, No 2, York Street, Colombo 01.
