The Sri Pada pilgrim season which began on Unduwap Full Moon Day will conclude 26^th May 2013, the day following Vesak Poya Day. Following the conclusion of the

pilgrim season, the Sacred Relics, the image the deity Saman and other sacred objects deposited at the Sri Pada Uda Maluwa will be taken in procession to the Galpottawala Sri Pada Raja Maha Viharaya, Pelmadulla, on May 26.
