The Open University of Sri Lanka invites applications for the certificate programme of Certificate Programme in Environmental Science -2013/2014.
This Programme, conducted by distance mode will require only limited attendance at formal face to face classes.

Application forms will be issued from 20th May to 5th June 2013.
Programme will be suitable for those who are interested and/ or environment engaged in environmental related activities and would provide basic knowledge in understanding the environment in general and other related issue with a view to enhancing public awareness to conserve our environment.
Admission requirement
- Six passes with three credits (including a credit pass for English Language) at the General Certificate Examination (Ordinary Level).
- Work experience in the environment related -fields would be an added advantage to follow the course.
Application fee: Rs. 350.00

- The Public Information Office, Open University, Nawala, between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on any day except on public holidays.(Payments by cash or credit card).
- The Regional Centres at Kandy (Polgolla), Matara (Nupe) and Anuradhapura and study centres at Ampara & Puttlam except on Sunday, Monday and public holidays between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. (Payments by cash only).
