Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) is the largest IT degree awarding institute in Sri Lanka in the field of Information Technology, recognized by the University Grants Commission under the Universities Act. The SLIIT was established in 1999 to educate and train IT professionals required by the fast growing IT industry in Sri Lanka.

Entry requirements for BIT & BBA
Pass three subjects in any stream GCE (A/L) Srilanka/London
Admission to computer system and Networking Degree
Same as the above but applicants must have a pass in mathematics or physics
Entry requirements for Bsc Engineering Degree
GCE (A/L) Sri Lanka/ London3 passes including a credit pass in Mathematics or physics in one and the same sitting and pass at the aptitude test conducted by SLIIT
