SriLankan’s Technical Training School is one of the few institutions in Asia that is EASA 147 approved to conduct both Basic Training in Avionics and Mechanical streams, and Type Training for aircraft of the Airbus A320 family, the A330 (Trent 700 engine) and the A340. Basic Training B1.1 (Airplane Turbine)
SriLankan Technical Training offers its extensive experience and expertise in its Aircraft Maintenance course scheduled to commence in January 2014. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in Aircraft Maintenance.

Training will be based towards civil wide-body pressurized jet aircraft. Those undergoing training during the course period will have the opportunity to gain experience on all aircraft in the SriLankan Airlines fleet, which currently consists of Airbus A320, A330 and A340.
Course certificates will be awarded to those who successfully complete all examinations, practical assessments and fulfil attendance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications and Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 6 passes at G.C.E (O/L) with 4 credits including credits for English Language, Science and Mathematics or equivalent educational qualification m one sitting, and two credits at G.C.E. (A/L) including Physics (excluding General English) or equivalent educational qualification in one sitting.
- Age between 18-24 years (as at 1st January 2014)
- Fluency in English
Applicants will be required to undergo a written examination, an interview and a full medical check before a final selection is made for enrolment for training
