This course is designed for students who have completed their G.C.E. Advanced Level exam, and are hoping to pursue higher education in biology, bio medical science and medicine, in universities abroad and in Sri Lanka.

It gives a foundation in the subject enabling the student to walk into a molecular biology program with a good theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience.
