Civil Security Department (CSD) taken parts to renovate the SriPada Stairways to the holy mountain. The Civil Security Department (CSD) had complete six Km out of seven Km of the stairways and it’s funded by Peoples Bank and Nuwara Eliya District Secretariat.

The renovation process has started in off season of May to December period of 2012. This renovation is taken place to facilitate the pilgrims to visit Sri Pada without any problems.
