25th April 2011, the Finance and Planning Ministry announce new Total Taxes as follows,
Total Taxes on Cars

Total Taxes on Hybrid cars

| Below 2000cc | 38% | 50% |
| 2000cc to 3000cc | 75% | |
| Above 3000cc | 100% |
Three wheelers
