Mobitel launches first Mobile 4G/LTE Networks in Srilanka
Mobitel announces it has launched Sri Lanka’s first mobile 4G/LTE networks service to the public. The statement said Mobitel carried out a successful trial of 4G LTE with a downlink speed exceeding 96Mbps for the first time in the South Asian Region in May 2011.
