Today 27^th May 2011, the Lion Brewery PLC announced to Colombo Stock Exchange that the Company sold his Shareholdings of South Asian Breweries Pte Ltd (SoAB) to Carlsberg South Asia Pte Ltd (CSAPL).

The Carlsberg South Asia Pte Ltd (CSAPL) is a Holding company of the Carlsberg India Pvt Ltd.

The Sale activity will be free of debt to the Lion Brewery and help to Strengthening and the Position its strongly in future development and growth.
