1^st June 2011 the Singer Industries (Ceylon) PLC announced to Colombo Stock Exchange that the company sold its entire investment in Singer (Srilanka) PLC during 2011.

The total profit of the investment sold was Rs.190.80 Million. The profits are accounted as follows,

Rs.135.80 Million attributes in 2010 Income Statement

Rs.29.70 million attributes in 1^st Quarter of 2011

Rs.25.30 Million attributes in 2^nd Quarter of 2011.
