Today 7^th March 2011, the Singer (Srilanka) PLC announced to Colombo Stock Exchange, that the Company has resolve to Increase the number of exiting ordinary share by Subdividing it as 2 new shares for every 1 share held.

Therefore the Number of Singer (Srilanka) PLC shares will becomes 125,209,610 from 62,604,805. The Subdivision isn’t affecting the stated capital of the Singer (Srilanka) PLC.

The company further says the Subdivision is subjective to the Shareholders Approvals in the General Meeting.
