The srilanka Export Development Board Invites Applications form Srilankan Exporters and the Small /Medium Enterprises to participate into the “Thaifex World of Food Asia Exhibition” at Bangkok, Thailand.

The “Thaifex World of Food Asia Exhibition” is an international Food and Beverage Trade fair to mechanized food processing factories, Meeting with Machinery Providers, Market linkages for outsourcing and to visit market complex programmes.

The “Thaifex World of Food Asia Exhibition” will help the foreign exporters to know about the Thailand food processing system, marketing, and Quality control systems. These will help to understand and gain knowledge on how export companies are upgrading and restructuring their businesses according to the competitive markets.

Selection Procedures and Assistance

Export Development Board will consider to providing 50% of Air Fare (Colombo – Bangkok – Colombo) and internal transport in Thailand for the selected potential exporters and SME’s. Other cost involved with the programme such as accommodation, food etc. will be borne by the participants.

The participants of the large scale export companies have to bear the total cost of the programme.

The EDB proposed to select 10 to 12 industrialist from the food & beverage sectors to this programme. Therefore the interested participant are request to send duly filled application forms through registered post to
