The Srilanka Export Development Board in collaboration with the srilanka embassy in Rome, proposed organizes a market exposure/ business development programme for srilankan footwear manufacturers/exporters in Italy. The Programme will be inclusive a visit to expo Riva such fair, direct business meeting, factory visits, visit to an international design school.
Objective of the event
To promote & Encourage entry of new companies to the international market, to provide first hand information of existing market & the competitive products, identify new trends, Design & Development in the international market, establish new Buyer contacts.

Selection Process
It is proposed to select 10 Medium scales and 5 large scales high quality Footwear Manufacturer / Exporters to participate at this programme. Applicants will be interviewed by a selection committee.
All expenses related to the programme should have to be borne by the participants.
Application process
The application form could be obtained from the industrial products division of EDB, and the complete application form should be handover to the EDB on or before 15th April 2012.
