Health Ministry had made an arrangement to nurses will be able to obtain university degree through the Post Basic Nursing School in Colombo soon.

The Post Basic Nursing School in Colombo will upgrade as an affiliated faculty of University of Colombo, nurses who enter this new faculty can follow degree programmes equivalent to State university degree.

Currently Post Basic Nursing School in Colombo will follow the same university entrance procedure as other university offering admonition to nurses.
