The Port and Highway Ministry announces that the 90% of the road networks including highways in North and eastern provinces had completed since the end of war.

The Government allocated USD 1,350 Million for infrastructure Development, Railway, Electricity, highway and water supplies developments projects in Northern and Eastern Province.

The fund allocations are developing the national level interest and improve the lifestyle of whole srilankan as one. This would expect to improve many for development proposals and projects to be carried out to lead the country.
