The Government is looking forward to agreeing to Imports 1000cc Motorcycles for the Sport purposes in Sri Lanka.  And this is good news for the sports person to experience the high power and perform motor cycles to their sports activities.

The Police Traffic Chief Amarasiri Senarathne states that the motorcycles were not to be allowed on public roads.  Due the high powered motor cycle could lead to criminal activities in public area, where the police do owned motorcycles only upto 600cc engine capacity to cope to obey traffic rules and regulations.

Currently only 2 1000cc motor cycles are available only on southern expressway for traffic police duties.
