The U.S. Embassy in Colombo announces that the 2014 Diversity Immigrant Visa Lottery Programme as known as Green Card Lottery would be accepting the Online Applications from 2nd October 2012.

The Diversity Immigrant Visa Lottery Programme (Green Card) is to select applicants to legally live and Work or study in USA each year. Srilankan and Maldivian are eligible to apply for this year too,

Registration for Diversity Immigrant Visa Lottery Programme (Green Card) will be open from October 2, 2012 to November 3. 2012. Those individual as requested to apply soon as possible to avoid any delays. An applicant may only register once; more than one entry will result to automatic disqualification
In the beginning of May 1, 2013, applicant may check their status on their applications with their confirmation number. The winner of the Diversity Immigrant Visa Lottery Programme (Green Card) will not notice by Postal mail, Email or Telephone calls.
