The North East Ice Company (Pvt) Ltd opens its first Ice Plant Manufacturing factory in Gurunagar, Jaffna. The Ceylon Fishers corporations launched with project alone with the North East Ice Company (Pvt) Ltd at an investment of Rs. 35 Million.

The factory is capable to manufacture 30 Tons of Ice per day and it could be a opportunity for Fisherman in Jaffna to obtain ice at a fair price.
