Malaysia’s Budget airline Air Asia is aiming re-launches its services between Colombo to Kuala Lumpur with its subsidiary Air Asia X.
The airline has applied for permission and is currently discussing with the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka to commence flights to Colombo and Air Asia X is a subsidiary of Air Asia Bhd of Malaysia and was launched to operate long haul flights and now added new destinations of Japan, China, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Kathmandu and the now is Colombo.
The parent airline Air Asia pulled out its operation in last February due to its commercial reasons and availability of their aircrafts. And this re-launches will add value to srilankan travellers for their budget requirement.
