The Ceylon Fisheries Corporation (CFC) and Happy Cook Lanka Food (Pvt) Ltd is Joint ventured up a 1st Semi Government Fish Canning Factory in Galle, Srilanka.
The project has been invested of Rs. 840 Million for the new Fish Canning Factory is expected to produce 10,000 Can per day and expected to double the daily production capacity in few month times.
In addition to this Galle Fish Canning Factory the CFC expected to Open a New 2 Fish Canning Factory in Peliyagoda and Mundalama in few Months time, The Fish Canning will be branded as Ceyfish, and which will be lower cost than the imported can fish.
The Intention of this New Venture to reduce the foreign cash outflows of Rs. 5120 Million and improve the self-sufficiency.
